Arizona State overcame several injuries to key players and an anemic first half of offense to beat the UCLA Bruins by a score of 23-20, improving to 5-1 overall and 2-1 in the Pac-12, good to be at the top of the South division.
After gaining just 68 yards in the first half, the Sun Devils were able to post 20 points in the second half behind a much better looking Brady White. White, who made his first career start at ASU, had his night cut short by what looked like a foot or ankle injury at the end of the fourth quarter.
