No. 24 ASU bullied in blowout loss at Colorado

BOULDER, Colo. – A setback in what had been Arizona State’s season of resilience is no reason to sound the alarms of panic, but following the Sun Devils’ performance here Saturday night, one thing is clear:

They can’t afford to leave behind their grit and fight whenever they leave Tempe. A failure to win on the road – or to even play well – will zap all the goodwill accumulated from a surprising first half, sooner rather than later.

For the third time this season, the No. 24 Sun Devils weren’t sharp away from Sun Devil Stadium, falling to yes-we’re-for-real Colorado 40-16 before a lively crowd of 48,588 at Folsom Field.
