@SunDevilGolf in Top Three After 18 Holes at Stanford

STANFORD, Calif. – The Sun Devils battled through a rain-soaked 18 holes to start play at the Stanford Intercollegiate, nearing the top of the leaderboards in third place as a team after day one.

"It rained from the first tee shot to the last putt today," said head coach Missy Farr-Kaye. "I am proud of how this team competed today and how they were strong and resilient in how they handled conditions on a hard golf course. We still have more to learn and I look forward to the next two days."

Sophia Zeeb tops Arizona State individually through the first day of play, shooting an even-71 and sitting in a tie for eighth place.
