KSR Today: One Sleep Until The GLOBL Jam

In 28.5 hours, we will be watching Kentucky Basketball. In fact, as we speak (type?), Jack Pilgrim and Steven Peake are on their way to Toronto to bring us all the sights and sounds from the GLOBL Jam. The event will be our first opportunity to see the 2023-24 Kentucky Wildcats in action, but unlike past summer trips to the Bahamas, the competition is expected to be legit.

On Monday, we got the final rosters for the Under-23 teams from Germany, Canada, and Africa. Notable names include Simas Lukošius (Germany), one of the top wings in the transfer portal this offseason that left Butler for Cincinnati; Louisville big man Emmanuel Okorafor (Africa), who goes by @Nigerianfreak34 on Twitter; and Aly Khalifa (Africa), a 6’11” 286 center who will play for Mark Pope at BYU this year after two seasons at Charlotte.
