It’s been a week since the spring transfer portal opened up. Last season, Michigan football used the transfer portal strategically to help add important depth ahead of its eventual national championship run. Say what you will about the transfer portal, but Michigan took advantage of the system to bolster its roster heading into the 2023 season.
A year ago, Michigan added key guys like AJ Barner (TE), Josh Wallace (DB), James Turner (K), LaDarius Henderson (OL), and Drake Nugent (OL) who all contributed to the championship team and are now expected to play in the NFL this fall.
