The WNBA draft is this evening. For most Husker fans, the main person of interest is Jaz Shelley.
The WNBA has a three-round draft with 12 picks in each round. Unfortunately for most draft picks, they do not make their team’s final roster. The stats say that a little under half of the draftees will play a game for their team (or anywhere in the WNBA).
Jaz is predicted to be drafted as early as one of the first five picks of the second round. That would bode well for her chances to make a WNBA roster.
