Cesar Luis Menotti, Argentinean manager of the 1978 World Cup winners, has passed away. Menotti was one of the most important managers in the history of Argentinean football and his style of “Menotismo” became a current of football beliefs in Argentina. Menotti had a important career in football in many teams and countries. In 1991 he was named as the coach of the Mexican National team and although his time was short, like in Argentina, his style was named by many as changing Mexican football at least in the NT. Menotti also coached in Puebla and UAG Tecos.

Born in 1938 in Rosario, Argentina, Menotti had a notable career in club football in Argentina.
