TAMPA — It was the biggest opening day for Tampa Bay Buccaneers training camp that anyone could remember, with fans packing the bleachers at One Buc Place to watch practice and cramming themselves against red plastic barricades in hopes of securing an autograph.
There was little question as to why this camp, for a team coming off a 2-14 season, was such a draw — and it wasn’t for the offensive line play.
"They want to see us win. But I think they were here to see Winston, you know?" right tackle Demar Dotson told USA TODAY Sports with a laugh.
